Vatican Express - March 23, 2026

Hello Runners!

Thank you so much for your continued interest in the Vatican Express marathon. We’re excited to share that the race will officially take place on Monday, March 23, 2026.

​

We are thrilled to be bringing the Vatican Express back in 2026 and are looking forward to a memorable race experience. A few things to note: 

• You must have a working Garmin.

• Each runner must have a hydration pack or handheld water bottle.

• The course begins at Vatican City; however, the majority of the race will be run along the River Tiber.

• Medals will be given to finishers, as well as a "surprise" swag.

• There will be no port-o-johns. 

• There will be an aid station every two miles.
