Hello Runners! We’ve received many inquiries about the Vatican City marathon for 2025, and we appreciate your enthusiasm! However, due to the fact that 2025 is a Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to host the marathon in Vatican City. Despite our best efforts, the increased security measures and logistical challenges surrounding the Jubilee celebrations make it difficult to hold the race as planned.

 

But don’t worry—we’ll be back in 2026 with a brand new race experience, and we can’t wait to see you all there! Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to running with you in the near future!
